About this test
Most superpower quizzes just hand out presents: you get something spectacular, you're told you're exceptional, the end. This one starts from the other side. The sixteen questions never mention capes or fights: they're about what keeps you awake, what you look at first in a stranger, how you settle conflicts and what you'd do with an hour nobody else would live.
The eight powers are deliberately generic — invisibility, mind reading, time travel, stopping time, teleportation, strength, healing, persuasion — and the archetypes are our own: the Witness, the Decoder, the Returner, the Catcher-Up, the Leaver, the Pillar, the Hand, the Voice. No fictional universes anywhere, and that's the point: a power only tells you something about yourself once you strip the scenery off it.
Every result also names the price. No power is neutral: strength attracts loads, persuasion erases sincere opinions, teleportation prevents attachment. The second half is the part worth reading.
How it works
Every answer maps to a power. We add them up and the one in front takes the result; the percentages show your exact mix. All eight powers appear seven to nine times across the questionnaire, so none of them starts with a real advantage.
